Brian Hull

Brian is a sales and marketing strategist with experience using customer data and market intelligence to solve customer acquisition and engagement problems for clients across most industry verticals. At Valassis, Brian leads the digital sales strategy by engaging the marketing leaders of their most influential clients and developing innovative solutions to drive sales and customer engagement through a personalized, omnichannel approach – typically involving the use of CRM or loyalty data.

Prior to joining Valassis, Brian was a sales leader at a number of internationally acclaimed customer intelligence and market research organizations: Euromonitor, Numerator (formally Market Track), and Hanover Research. Most recently, Brian opened the North American headquarters for Berlin-based Market Logic Software and worked with the marketing leaders of Fortune 500 companies to build “knowledge as an asset” through an enterprise insights-sharing platform.

Brian earned his bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Psychology from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and during his time there was a student of the Honors Program and held leadership positions in the student government and numerous organizations focused on LGBT, gender, and racial equality. Brian has been with Valassis since 2017 and resides in Chicago.
