Mentor/Mentee Matching Program

Primary Matching Criteria

Focus Areas

We match mentors and mentees based on selected professional development topics:

  • Leadership Development
  • Career Advancement
  • Work-Life Balance
  • Strategic Planning & Decision Making
  • Industry Trends & Innovation
  • Other specialized areas identified by participants

Professional Goals & Experience

We review the written responses from both mentor and mentee applications:

  • Mentors: What expertise can they share? What do they hope to gain from mentoring?
  • Mentees: What are their professional goals? What specific guidance do they seek?

Secondary Matching Criteria

Age Range Preference

Participants can indicate preferred age brackets or select "no preference." Some mentees prefer mentors with significant experience (often older), while others value recent, relatable career navigation (closer in age).

Gender Preference

Participants can indicate gender preferences or select "no preference." We respect these preferences while acknowledging that the strongest matches are built on professional compatibility.

Geographical Area

Since all meetings are virtual, geography primarily serves to align time zones.

Rematching Policy

If a mentorship relationship isn't working after your first meeting, you may request a rematch by emailing Jessica Levco at mentor@greystone.net.

Our Commitment to Transparency

We believe participants deserve to understand how matches are made. While we can't guarantee every preference will be met in this pilot year, we're committed to creating thoughtful pairings that prioritize professional growth, mutual respect and connection.

Your feedback throughout the year will help us refine our matching process for future cohorts.
